Kim Fuller

The founder of Born to Rise,™ Kim is on a mission to empower women to process, transform and share their raw, real, pulled-straight-from-the-heart stories so they can love themselves fully, inspire, educate and connect with other women and impact communities around the globe by creating conversations that connect versus divide. Her practice in Buddhism, photography and mindfulness has inspired her to practice seeing all beings through the lens of love.

What it is

  • A collective experience and community where authors can experience one another as they rise—both in person and virtually.

This book is for women and feminine-identifying people of all ages, backgrounds, and origins who …

  • Are committed to creating greater visibility for themselves and other women through collaborative expression, visioning, and truth-telling.

  • Understand the power of sharing stories as a means of connecting at the soul level, releasing assumptions and judgments and to bring forth a deeper compassion for all women’s paths.

  • Have a powerful and insightful story of awakening, overcoming, or healing to share.

  • Want to leverage their personal stories to uplift others as part of their greater mission and impact.

How we’ll support you

  • September 2023, We’ll kick off the experience with a virtual group zoom to get to know one another and get you started with your storytelling process.

  • With hands-on coaching and training from Bryna and Kim, you’ll identify and outline your transformational story of 1,500-2,000 words.

  • We will gather LIVE in Providence, RI, in October, for a weekend retreat where you will get to know one another, share your story ideas and work on your writing.

  • Your story will be professionally edited by the experienced team at World Changers Media.

  • We’ll gather online twice a month for juicy connection/storytelling calls to share our evolving journeys in life and business.

  • You’ll receive an author portrait photo shoot with Kim to capture your Rise in a beautiful visual.

  • We’ll curate video interviews so you and your coauthors can share your stories and expertise in an extended format — then, we’ll launch those videos in a virtual author summit to get that delicious extra visibility push!

  • We’ll launch the book to bookstores and online retailers in May/June 2024 with a full Wall Street Journal bestseller marketing campaign* (because your story deserves to be read around the globe).

  • You’ll receive 5 free print copies of the book with the option to purchase up to 100 more books at cost.

  • The book will be available via online retailers, bookstores, libraries, and wherever books are sold.

  • We’ll introduce the book in person at a LIVE and/or online Born to Rise storytelling event where you’ll have the opportunity to present your story to up to 100 attendees!

    • Attend our kickoff weekend retreat to receive live coaching from Kim and Bryna around crafting your story in the most powerful possible way. (those not local to New England will receive their photo shoots at this retreat.)

    • Share and promote the pre-launch video summit via 1 solo email and 5-7 social posts.

    • Share and promote the book during launch week and thereafter via 2 solo emails and 10-12 social posts.

  • The best stories are the ones where we get inside the head of the writer. We hear about something that happened as well as the moment of shift/ realization and the thoughts, emotions and new found wisdom that follows.

    We want to hear about how you created triumph from trauma, possibility from loss or change, and how you finally listened to your “calling” or your heart, and followed your passions and gifts to create leadership and impact. There are no limitations on subject matter; rather, we are looking to curate stories that uplift women who also want to rise.

  • We are curating something truly special here — the second in a series of Born to Rise™ anthology books.

    We are including carefully-designed, supportive in-person and virtual events, a personalized author photoshoot with Kim (a $1,700 value), and top-quality editing and production of the book and associated media. We will guide you all along the way — from accessing, processing, and writing your story to coordinating your team for our global launch. Plus, we will engage a top-level marketing team to help us reach national bestseller status.

    In short, this is far more than just a book book project!

    Born to Rise™ encourages women to tell their stories, no matter where they are on their path. However, this book is designed to showcase women who are leading from the heart and already creating impact with their work. We are inviting leaders in the fields of art, science, business, social work, philanthropy, medicine and more. You will be part of a community of women who will together share wisdom, insights and strategies so we can all continue to rise!

    In short, this is a project for women for whom top quality production, visibility, and VIP touch points are non-negotiables — and who value connection as a powerful vehicle for personal and community evolution.

  • We are working on dates and venues for our in-person gatherings, however, here’s the ballpark:

    Our kickoff weekend retreat will happen in early September 2022.

    Our in-person author gathering will likely take place early to mid-October, 2023. (Note: authors will be responsible for their own travel expenses to Providence, RI)

    Story submission deadline will be November 14, 2022

    Edits will need to be approved within two weeks of receipt.

    Our bestseller book launch will be scheduled for May/June 2024.

    Our book launch event will take place in June 2024.
